We have been coming “up North” for at least 35 years, and this is without a doubt the best place we've ever stayed. We loved everything about it-especially all your personal touches and extras. Our lovely deck made a fine place to relax, and the veranda is a great place to listen to the loons calling to each other as the morning fog burns off.

Our second year at Pap-Qua is just as wonderful as last year. Nature was good to us again with her beautiful sunsets, loons, eagles, and the smell of fresh pine after a nice rain. Falling asleep or waking up to the sounds of loons is so special. The cabin was as clean and comfy as last year, with its personal touches. Thanks again!

Our first visit to Pap-Qua. Our hopes and expectations were greatly met as we spent our first real family vacation together. We left our beautiful home of Michigan's U.P to come a little South and spend each day fishing and swimming to our hearts content. I believe morning coffee has never tasted to good as it did this past week, each morning on the deck. Evening campfires ended the relaxing days...

Year eight & it was great! We couldn't wait to come back this time for the much sought after R&R & we found it. The weather was iffy for fishing, but great for cabin coziness, comfort & creative naps in the middle of the day- how unheard of!

Thank you for a beautiful week! This was our second trip to Pap-Qua and we have reserved next year. Our very own slice of heaven on Trout Lake. As I sit on the deck looking at the lake, I will take beautiful memories home with me again. And begin looking forward to next year.

Thank you for another wonderful stay. It was a little unseasonably cold, but perfect weather for sitting by the fireplace. The highlight of our stay was when I was proposed to on the shore of Pallette Lake, while hiking the Escanaba trail. (of course I said yes!) Thank you for the special touches in the cabin-welcome basket, flowers, firewood in the fireplace. We look forward to next year, maybe as a honeymoon.
